English Personal Recount

I had waited long for that day, with mixed feelings of both trepidation and excitement. That day was my first day in Victoria School. Ever since I collected my posting results, I had been waiting for the arrival of this day. On one hand, I am very excited to start attending my dream school and on one hand I am worried about having to handle 9 subjects, whereby you have to be independant in your studies and not being spoon-fed by teachers.

Early in the morning, I woke up before my alarm clock rung. I got myself ready by six-thirty. After breakfast, my parents sent me to school. When we reached the school gate, I saw many pupils streaming into the school. As I stepped in, I made up my mind that I was going to strive in all aspects within my 4 year stay in the school.Soon the school bell rang for flag-raising. He delivered a welcome speech for new students and teachers. After that, our peer leaders brought us to our respective classrooms for the orientation programme.

In the classroom, a string of activities had been lined up which enabled us to interact with our new classmates. The activities were very interesting. We had a whale of a time. Before recess time, we were all behaving as though we were bosom friends. After recess, the teachers arrived to introduced themselves and their expectations.

I was totally then that secondary school was going to be interesting. I had great faith in Victoria School that I was would be nurtured and cultivated into a person who can make contibutions to society in future.
