English Personal Recount

I have one particularly happy memory. At the end of Primary 6, my class decided to hold a get-together at a chalet in East Coast near Victoria(My current school).
When I entered the chalet room,I was greeted with screams and shouts. A peal of laughter erupted from the back where my friends were watching television. Laughter is infectious, so I joined the crowd.
At night,we barely slept a wink.A sudden fit of giggling or a whisper of a ghost story could be heard. Anyway, at around six in the morning, we headed down to the beach. As I saw the sun rising, I made a wish. I wished with all my heart that I would have another similar memory to live through, just like this one.
The teachers then announced that there was to be a barbecue at night. We spent another happy afternoon riding bicycles or catching forty winks in the chalet. The afternoon then flew by swiftly.
As our teachers had spoken to us that night, I realise with a pang of sorrow that this was to be the last time we would ever do anything together. But quickly, I remembered that I should be grateful to have the memory and not sully it with sadness.
