rhapsody few days away

haiz, just finished my hmk for school, still have to study for 2 tests tmrw. I hope that rhapsody would be a success for vs choir, i still have so many 2E people going for it, about 21. One thing new I found out today was that Mr Ong, my English relief teacher for miss fox, was from vs choir and then vjc choir(for vs choir senoirs who may know him plz tell me XD), I think he was the soprano section leader for the class of 2003. He even knew all the songs we were performing for rhapsody. Today's lesson was super slack, so many teachers didnt come. After that I went siglap for choir practice. We then practised the whole concert once through with the mcs.

Sometimes I wonder why my group members do not listen to me even though i am the leader. Told them to choose super hardworking guy, but in the end group members out vote me to choose irresponsible person. And then now they complain irresponsible guy slacking. Ai yah, hope all my projects go down well. (Still rushing to complete d&t diorama project :))
Still have soprano sectional tmrw, hope we can improve before rhapsody!!

lol i am back

Hi everyone, i am back blogging finally :) I just finished my e-learning, I feel like I rather do my learning in school, ok maybe the assignments are lesser than the ones given in school but personally i rather learn in school because the assignments are so much more organized and LMS(Learning Management System) keeps lagging because a lot of people are logging in at the same time. I then did most of the work and then was sian at home and went to school for choir. I thought a lot of the sec 2s would enthu and go back to school for choir but only me, joshua, sean hendrik and jia lok went back. We then did combines with mr cheow(dont know whether name is correct). I feel that credo is still our "killer" song, and when we sang, it kept on going flat and we had no musicality. Then mr cheow made us stand in quartet, i felt that pitching was better standing next to one alto and one bass. We surprisingly did not do salve regina which is another song we sopranos had problems in. Mr Cheow then started to talk about his life as a teacher and how even p 3s talk about s_ _. It was really amusing and after practice, my mother fetched me home and took about 1hr because she went into the wrong expressway(she just passed her driving) XD. Haiz, going to Melvin house to do D & T, going to sleep now...

English personal Recount

The night market is a fascinating place. There was one near my home a few days ago. I visited it to see what I could pick up for a bargain. When I arrived at 8pm, the market was in full swing. There were people moving around with arms laden with things of all shapes and sizes.

I realised that there was no system in a night market. The stalls are unlike the systematically arranged departmental stores we usually shop at. I began by going to a store which sold shirts. I learnt that one did not pay the price that a vendor asked for at a night market, you instead bargained until you feel the price is reasonable. I then asked the vendor to name his price. He said $20. I pretended to look aghast and began to walk away. He called me back, and we agreed to $12 , he then grumbled about how hard it was to make a living. I paid the money and wlked off to explore more stores.

After a good walk, several snacks and minor purchase later, I returned home. On the day, when I checked a regular shirt shop, it listed price was $18. I guess they could sell things cheaper at a night market because of the lower rental.
